Khalid Al Yafei (MD) is a senior pediatric emergency physician and former chief of medical informatics. He has also been an associate professor at Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar and the Medical College of Qatar University.
As Dr. Alyafei is actively involved in many research studies, he’s also a strong advocate in public education with a particular interest in injury prevention, home safety, and child abuse prevention.
In 2008, Dr. Al Yafei embarked on his illustrious journey in health informatics and education. His commitment to his profession is evident in his continued practice as a senior attending pediatric emergency physician and medical director of PALS at Sidra Medicine. His leadership in these roles ensures that the highest standards of care and safety are maintained.
