Dr. Amal Al-Ali, a distinguished leader in healthcare quality, patient safety, and innovation. Dr. Al-Ali serves as the Executive Director of Quality, Patient Safety & Innovation at the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) in Qatar, where she leads transformative initiatives that elevate care standards across the nation.
She is a Senior Consultant in Family Medicine, a Fellow of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), and holds dual master’s degrees in Quality and Safety in Healthcare Management and Public Health Education. Her work spans strategic leadership in QI, accreditation, risk management and Patient Safety, ethics, and performance improvement.
Dr. Al-Ali chairs PHCC’s Corporate Ethics Committee and is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar, mentoring future clinicians in excellence and innovation. Her contributions have earned her the GCC Medal for Leadership in Civil Service and Government Development.
