Dr. Arwa El-Baage is a board-certified internist and endocrinologist with extensive clinical, academic, and research experience. She completed her medical degree with first honors at King Saud Medical College, Riyadh, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at King Khalid University Hospital, where she obtained the Saudi Board of Internal Medicine in 2018. She then pursued advanced training through the Saudi Board Fellowship in Endocrinology, graduating with distinction in 2021 and ranking among the top percentile nationwide.
Dr. El-Baage’s research interests include endocrine disorders, COVID-19 outcomes, and metabolic health. She has conducted and co-authored studies published in peer-reviewed journals and collaborated on international research at McGill University.
Currently a consultant Endocrinologist at Military Hospital Medical City here in Doha, Qatar. Since joining this institution and recognizing the burden of obesity on the people of Qatar and more importantly on the adolescent population , her interest in this field enhanced with a passion in making a difference in the incidence and prevalence of obesity in Qatar and nationwide.
Dr. El-Baage brings together clinical expertise, research acumen, and a strong commitment to advancing obesity in the field of endocrinology though patient care, guidance and perseverance.
