Dr. Syed Meraj Ahmed is a Community Medicine Consultant Trainer at the Primary Health Care Corporation, Qatar, bringing over two decades of experience in public health, medical education, and clinical practice. He earned his MSc and Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health from the University of London, alongside an MD in Community Medicine and MBBS from Aligarh Muslim University, India.
His career spans academic and clinical leadership roles across India, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, including Associate Professorships at Majmaah University (KSA), Chettinad Hospital & Research Institute (India), and Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College (India). In these positions, he has contributed extensively to curriculum development, faculty training, and mentoring of medical students and residents.
Dr. Syed has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications addressing medico-legal practices, medical ethics, school health, road traffic accident fatalities, diabetes management, and electronic health record adoption. His research underscores a commitment to advancing evidence-based healthcare and improving system efficiency.
