EXECUTIVE FORWARDS

Dr. Mariam Ali A. Malik
Chair of Conference Organizing Committee
Managing Director
Primary Health Care Corporation
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the 6th International Primary Health Care Conference 2025, held under the theme: "Inspiring Tomorrow: The Power of Collaboration in Primary Health Care."
As we look ahead to this important gathering in Doha, we are excited to welcome a global community of professionals, policymakers, researchers, and educators who share a common purpose: to protect health and improve lives.
The world around us is changing rapidly. The challenges we face are complex, from pandemics and climate change to economic uncertainties and evolving societal needs. Yet, they remind us of one simple truth: primary health care is the heart of health equity and community wellbeing. It is where care begins, trust is built, and lives are touched every day.
This journey cannot be walked alone. The lessons of recent years have shown us that collaboration is not just additive—it is transformative. When we work together, we multiply our impact and overcome even the greatest obstacles.
Building on the momentum of our landmark event in Doha in 2023, IPHCC 2025 will once again offer a platform for dynamic discussions, innovative ideas, and inspiring stories from across the sector. Here, we will exchange knowledge and share experiences. Most importantly, we will reaffirm our shared values and collective commitment to advancing primary health care for all.
Let this conference be more than just another event. Let it be a place where new partnerships are formed, where inspiration is shared, and where our vision for a healthier future is renewed. IPHCC 2025 is more than a platform for dialogue—it is a catalyst for inspiration and collaboration.
May this conference ignite new possibilities and strengthen the global movement toward accessible, high-quality primary health care for every person, everywhere.
Together, we can collaborate and inspire tomorrow.

Dr. Zelaikha Mohsin Al Wahedi
Chair of Conference Scientific Committee
Assistant Managing Director of Quality & Workforce Development
Primary Health Care Corporation
It is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the 6th International Primary Health Care Conference, organized by the Primary Health Care Corporation, Qatar. As Chair of the Scientific Committee, I am delighted to see so many passionate professionals, researchers, and leaders gathered here, united by our shared commitment to advancing primary health care.
This year, our conference is guided by the theme “Inspiring Tomorrow: The Power of Collaboration in Primary Health Care.” This theme could not be more timely or relevant. In a world that continues to face complex health challenges, emerging diseases, technological disruption, and shifting population needs—collaboration stands as our most powerful tool for progress.
Over the next three days, our program brings together a diverse array of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and focused sessions. We will explore the latest in compassionate leadership, the translation of research into practice, the integration of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, and the vital role of preventative care. Our sessions will also address quality and safety, ethics and law, interprofessional collaboration, and the unique needs of priority populations.
This year, we have designed the conference to maximize engagement and knowledge-sharing, with parallel tracks covering clinical updates across family medicine, nursing, pharmacy, radiology, dentistry, physiotherapy, and nutrition. We are especially proud to highlight the contributions of our student task force and to celebrate research and quality improvement through our poster presentations.
At PHCC, we believe that the future of primary health care lies in our ability to work together—across disciplines, sectors, and borders. By fostering a culture of collaboration, we can accelerate innovation, improve patient outcomes, and build resilient, people-centered health systems.
As we embark on this journey, let us remember that every session, every discussion, and every connection made here is an opportunity to inspire tomorrow. Let us challenge ourselves to think boldly, to share openly, and to support one another in our shared mission.
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the members of the Scientific Committee for their dedication and vision, to the planning committee for their tireless efforts, and to all our speakers, presenters, and participants for their invaluable contributions.
Together, let us harness the power of collaboration to shape the future of primary health care—for Qatar, for our region, and for the world.
Thank you, and I wish you all a productive and inspiring conference.
