Dr Al-Kuwari is a Senior Consultant in preventive medicine & Assistant Managing Director - Strategy in PHCC. Academically, he is professor of community medicine and preventive medicine in the college of medicine - Qatar University. Former program director of community medicine residency program.
Dr. Al-Kuwari has public health interest in Health intelligence and epidemiology. Also he has experience in non-communicable diseases prevention and health promotion. During covid-19 pandemic he led the contact tracing activities. Clinically, Dr. Mohamed is working in Smoking cessation, Exercises medicine, and MSK.
Dr Al-Kuwari has more than 150 scientific papers published in Preventive Medicine and Primary health care.
