Dr. Sameera Meshal AlHajri is a Consultant in Family Medicine and Occupational Health Manager at the Primary Health Care Corporation in Qatar. She holds the Licentiateship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (LFOM) from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and brings a combined expertise in family medicine and occupational health to her role.
In 2018, Dr. AlHajri was appointed as the first Head of the Staff Clinic, where she successfully led its establishment and development into a key service for employee health and wellbeing. Her work emphasizes on medical surveillance, fitness-for-duty evaluations, early identification of occupational illnesses, and preventive health initiatives.
She has played a significant role in promoting staff wellness initiatives, ergonomic risk prevention, and radiation safety standards within healthcare environments. She is an outspoken advocate of psychological safety and has been involved in developing programs for staff mental wellbeing among healthcare professionals.
