Dr Kawa Amin is a consultant physician specialising in medicine for older people with interests in healthcare management and education. He holds several notable certifications and has been involved in various educational and academic activities. He has founded accredited simulation courses, taken on leadership roles in conferences and is the director of the Qatar Geriatric for Non-Geriatrician post-graduate program.
He trained as a specialist trainee in the UK and was appointed as a consultant Geriatrician in 2013 at Barking Havering Redbridge University NHS Trust. He was the clinical lead for the mobility impairment service at BHRUT and represented the British Geriatric Society in the advisory group for the National Audit of Inpatient Falls 2017-2018.
